The Pittsburgh Steelers are back at it again. After visiting with veteran wide receiver Gabe Davis in the spring, Davis is flying back to the facility to meet with Pittsburgh's brass, ESPN insider Adam Schefter reports.
Davis is coming off an underwhelming season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, in which he recorded just 20 receptions on 42 targets over 10 games while averaging a dismal 5.7 yards per target. The veteran dealt with injuries last season, and Davis failed a physical for several interested teams this offseason.
The interest in Davis is a poor sign for the Steelers' wide receiver room.
