The Pittsburgh Steelers, like almost every NFL franchise right now, has had a rash of injuries go through their offseason roster. Whenever injuries strike in the preseason, teams are forced to make adjustments, and often roster moves.
The Steelers’ injury list grew on Monday, and the following players have been watching more than they have been practicing.
Wendell Smallwood (shoulder)
Chris Wormley (shoulder)
Terrell Edmunds (undisclosed)
Kevin Dotson (knee)
Diontae Johnson (undisclosed)
Chuks Okorafor (groin)
Derwin Gray (knee)
Anthony Johnson (knee)
Bud Dupree (undisclosed)
Kam Canaday (knee)
With that list growing by the day, the Steelers brought in five players for workouts as they wait to see if a roster move will be necessary.
