The Pittsburgh Steelers have hired a new scouting intern. According to the team’s website, Anthony Rooney now appears on the Steelers.com’s front office page. His name was updated recently, over the last couple of days, and did not appear on the team site after the season ended.
From 2018 to 2022, Rooney played football for Denison College. A three-year starter at safety, he recorded 29 tackles and three interceptions in 2022, helping to lead the school to an 8-2 record. Here he is with an interception to help beat Wabash in September.
