Steelers get injury update on Broderick Jones

In an offense that will have lots of new faces this season, the Pittsburgh Steelers' offensive line returns many of the same names. These training reps will be crucial for a line that is still young at nearly every position.

That was seemingly jeopardized over the weekend, when left tackle Broderick Jones left practice Sunday with a hamstring injury that Tomlin labeled as “day-to-day.”

Today, Steelers fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Mike Tomlin offered some positive news regarding Jones, one of the Steelers’ most important players for this upcoming season. Tomlin told reporters that Jones will be back on the field for the first day of padded practice.
