The Steelers announced contract extensions for two young players and that 10 players have signed futures contracts with the team.
Signing extensions were fullback Roosevelt Nix and guard Chris Hubbard.
Nix played in 15 games on offense and special teams. He was a defensive lineman at Kent State signed by the Steelers last January after first trying to crack the NFL as a fullback with the Falcons. Hubbard has played in eight games over the last two seasons after spending 2013 on the Steelers practice squad.
The Steelers also agreed to futures contracts with safety Jordan Dangerfield, offensive linemen Matt Feiler and B.
