As the NFL offseason draws closer with the league in Week 18, there will be plenty of changes around the league, from head coaches, front office members and personnel, especially for the teams that missed the playoffs this season.
There could be as many as seven head coach openings around the league, and a similar number when it comes to GM positions, too. For Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, one of those who could find themselves up for a GM job happens to work for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In a list highlighting his hot names to watch as potential future NFL general managers, Breer tabbed Steelers assistant GM Andy Weidl as a name to watch once again.
