The Pittsburgh Steelers have elevated CB D’Shawn Jamison and OL Jack Driscoll from the team’s practice squad to the Active/Inactive roster for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
Jamison boosts cornerback depth with the Steelers dealing with injury and illness at the position. Brandin Echols and James Pierre have already been ruled out with respective groin and calf injuries. Jamison figures to help on special teams and potentially play in the slot.
A former undrafted free agent out of Texas, Jamison has appeared in one game with Pittsburgh this season. He logged four special teams snaps in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals but did not see any defensive reps.
