Steelers Designate Rookie CB Cameron Sutton To Return From Injured Reserve

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that they’ve designated rookie CB Cameron Sutton to return from injured reserve.

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Steelers to add him to their active roster or he’ll spend the duration of the 2017 season on injured reserve.

Sutton, 22, was selected by the Steelers in the third round of this year’s draft. He signed a four-year contract worth $3,126,128, which includes a signing bonus of $736,128 and stands to make a base salary of $465,000 for the 2017 season.

Unfortunately, the Steelers placed Sutton on injured reserve coming out of the preseason.
