Steelers Cut Four Players

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they’ve waived four players including RB Brandon Brown-Dukes, RB Gus Johnson, WR Canaan Severin and CB Al-Hajj Shabazz on Monday.

Shabazz, 24, originally signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of West Chester in July of 2015 but was waived as the team trimmed their roster down to 75 players.

The Steelers signed him to a future/reserve contract in February of last year but was waived as the team got down to the 53-man limit. He was signed to the team’s practice squad after clearing waivers.
