Athletes and artists from across the city gathered for this five-day getaway that sails from Florida to Mexico, one that offers dozens of up-close and personal events.
One event that wasn’t expected, though, was this:
Linebacker James Harrison captured the scene on his Instagram account, as sixteen passengers were stranded on a makeshift boat in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. The Legends of Pittsburgh cruise caught eye of them and sailed over to help; according to Harrison, members of the cruise contacted the Coast Guard, who then sailed in to rescue them.
