Steelers Claim WR Brandon Reilly Off Waivers, Waive CB Alexander Myres With NFI Designation

The Pittsburgh Steelers made their first transaction of training camp on Wednesday as a wide receiver was added to the roster and a cornerback was waived.

According to the Steelers, wide receiver Brandon Reilly was claimed off waivers from the Detroit Lions on Wednesday and rookie cornerback Alexander Myres was waived with a non-football illness designation to make room for the new player on the roster.

Reilly was originally signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2017 out of Nebraska and has also since spent time on their practice squad and the practice squads of the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions.
