Steelers CB Artie Burns thinks he'll be able to play vs. Jaguars

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Artie Burns said Thursday that he feels like he'll "be able to go" for Sunday's AFC divisional playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Burns said he hyperextended his knee during Wednesday's practice, and he was officially listed as not participating on Thursday's injury report, even though he had predicted he would be limited. Burns is currently receiving treatment for the injury.

"Just get ready for Sunday, get healthy," Burns said.

The Athletic reported that Burns suffered a noncontact injury to his right knee. A source told ESPN on Wednesday that there did not appear to be significant damage to Burns' knee, and he was officially listed as limited Wednesday after leaving practice early.
