The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered several injuries Sunday in their preseason win over the Green Bay Packers and it appears though center Maurkice Pouncey will miss an extended amount of time with an ankle injury that will require surgery.
Pouncey, who was rolled up on from behind in the first quarter of Sunday’s game, was spotted afterwards using crutches while wearing a soft cast on his left leg.
Head coach Mike Tomlin said during his post game press conference that he’s not ready to speculate about how long Pouncey will be sidelined until after the surgery takes place.
