Steelers Beat Writer Predicts Justin Fields Will Be ‘One-And-Done ‘With Jets

In March, QB Justin Fields signed a two-year deal with the New York Jets. One Pittsburgh Steelers beat writer predicts that Fields won’t see that second season. Mark Kaboly offered the take Monday, believing the Jets will quickly sour on Fields while doubling down on his offseason opinion that Mason Rudolph remains the better option.

“I don’t think he will be the guy,” Kaboly said of Fields during an appearance on 93.7 The Fan. “I think he’s a one-and-done in New York.”

Pittsburgh attempted to retain Fields in free agency, but New York presented a better offer that included partially guaranteed money in the second year.
