Steelers Aren’t ‘Dominant’ Defense That Relies Too Much On Takeaways, Says Dan Orlovsky

The Pittsburgh Steelers weren’t supposed to beat the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. The defense gave up 30+ points in back-to-back games, and the Colts’ offense had put up 30+ points in four straight games. But the Steelers did win, thanks in large part to forcing six turnovers.

Is the Steelers’ defense back? It shut down Colts RB Jonathan Taylor, holding him to 45 rushing yards on 14 carries. That allowed the pass rush to tee off on Colts QB Daniel Jones to the tune of five sacks. But Dan Orlovsky isn’t convinced that the Steelers’ defense is actually back to being a legitimate shutdown defense.
