Ahead of Thursday’s training camp practice, the Steelers are getting a starting offensive guard back in the lineup. This morning, the team announced that Isaac Seumalo has returned to practice and has been activated from the active/non-football injury list.
Seumalo, 31 years old, started 13 games for the Steelers last season. He was also named to his first career Pro Bowl as a replacement. He’s the only Steelers starter on the offensive line who’s not on his rookie contract.
Steelers reserve lineman Spencer Anderson filled in for Seumalo during the veteran’s injury.
Just ahead of training camp, Seumalo was placed on the NFI list due to a “soft tissue issue.
