Now that he’s cleared to play following a spinal injury last season, former Los Angeles Chargers’ cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. is a popular name on the open market following Tuesday’s trade deadline.
He already has three visits lined up across the league, too. But according to the teams reported by NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, the Pittsburgh Steelers are not among those three teams.
Schultz reports that Samuel is set to meet with the Carolina Panthers Wednesday, and has visits with the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings lined up.
