The Steelers’ offense has played better in recent weeks, and Pat Freiermuth offered one possibility as to why that is. Obviously, having Aaron Rodgers healthier hasn’t hurt, even if the offensive line is trending in the wrong direction. They have also added more veteran players who are more equipped to do what is asked. But there’s a simpler reason, perhaps literally, to explain the improvement.
“I just feel like we were able to simplify things, make sure everyone was on the same page. What we’re trying to execute, what we’re trying to get done, and go back to what we’ve been comfortable and successful at doing in the past”, Freiermuth said, via the Steelers’ website, when asked why the offense has been better.
