Regardless of circumstances, you can’t help but love Mike Tomlin’s quote when he was asked about the rigors which will come with playing 13 games in a row to finish out the regular season.
“We don’t care.”
Straight to the point, and with authority. Tomlin knows how to speak to his team through the media.
But he can also speak to the fan base through the same medium. It is almost as if Tomlin was talking to every fan who bleeds black and gold every Sunday, Monday or Thursday and said, “We won’t make excuses.
