Scotty Miller Happy To See Hard Work ‘Come To Fruition’ Against Lions

As the road gets narrow late in the season, teams are going to need key contributions from some unlikely sources.

For the Pittsburgh Steelers, they needed veteran wide receiver Scotty Miller to make some plays late in the Week 16 win over the Detroit Lions. To Miller’s credit, despite very little usage offensively this season, he came through in big spots.

Miller finished with three receptions for 19 yards, coming through in the clutch time and time again as quarterback Aaron Rodgers looked his way in big spots.

Though he hasn’t played much offensively this season (just 100 total snaps), Miller did what a dependable reserve receiver does: make plays when the moment arises.
