Pittsburgh Steelers’ safety Sean Davis has a dislocated finger according to the team. This is not a ‘major’ injury but it does indeed highlight potentially serious issue at free safety for the Black and Gold. If Davis is gone for any extended period of time there is little behind him in the way of reliable depth. Many fans have been clamoring for Tre Boston, the current free agent, but wouldn’t you think they would have brought him in here by now if there were interested? Brain Allen has been moved to free safety but I’m not real sure the Steelers would have much confidence in him long term.
