I want to clear something up right away in regards to Dwayne Haskins. He is not in Pittsburgh to be the starter. He’s not even in Pittsburgh to be the backup. Right now, he’s competing to be the number three quarterback. That’s the truth. In time, if everything goes right in his world, then maybe he competes for the one or two spot but that’s getting way ahead of ourselves. The man Haskins is competing with is Josh Dobbs. Entering his fifth season, Dobbs’ importance is probably centered around the fact that Ben Roethlisberger goes to him before anyone else when he comes to the sidelines.
