Have you ever told someone that you were going to achieve a certain goal only for them to tell you they don’t see it happening? At that moment you can either be deflated and give up or it can build resolve and motivate you even more. This is likely what Ryan Shazier faces on a daily basis. To this point, Shazier still believes he will play football again. He also still has the goal of making the Pro Football Hall of Fame too. I’m the last person to tell another that his or her dreams and goals are unreachable and I’ll take that same approach with Shazier.
