Yesterday was the final day for NFL players to opt out of the 2020 season due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In total, 67 players will not participate for their respective teams. The New England Patriots led all teams with eight players while LA Chargers, Atlanta Falcons and your Pittsburgh Steelers were the only teams with zero opt outs. Many fans of these three teams will feel good. They’ll beat their chests and say, “yeah! My team is totally committed to this season!” Let me first say that I totally respect the decisions made by these 67 men.
