While I want to preface this by saying “OTAs are still very much football in pajamas….” I do want to take a moment to tell you about an interesting development so far through a couple of weeks of Phase Three. We’ve learned that Undrafted Free Agent Rookie QB Devlin Hodges has impressed in a number of ways so far. The young man from Samford University who threw for over 14,500 yards during his career, has shown that he can grasp the offense and is demonstrating a pretty lively arm too. He has a lot to show in order to unseat Josh Dobbs who we assume will be the number three behind Mason Rudolph but we haven’t been overly impressed with Dobbs anyway.
