The Steelers’ defense is known for their edge rushers, including players like T.J. Watt, Alex Highsmith and Nick Herbig. While it may not be as electric as a strip sack, those three also pull their weight defending the run as well. Including Herbig, who says he takes a lot of pride in that department.
“Don’t get me wrong, there’s no feeling like a strip sack,” Herbig said Sunday, via the Steelers’ YouTube channel. “But I take great pride in the run game. You can’t get a third down if you don’t stop them on first and second down.
