Roman Wilson didn’t expect to ride the bench at the end of his second season, but he is remaining positive about his future. Demoted since the Steelers acquired some veteran wide receivers, the second-year man has lost his spot in the pecking order. There’s nothing he can do about it, however, but continue to work and grow and learn.
“Just trying to look at it from every positive aspect”, Wilson told Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette about his demotion. “This is a good time for me to reflect on the rest of the season for me and how I’ve been improving — and just keeping that same mindset, where every day is a good opportunity for me to build and grow and learn from guys like Adam, MVS, DK, Aaron.
