It hasn’t been an ideal start to second-year WR Roman Wilson’s career, but the 2024 third-round pick is starting to get more involved in the offense. After playing just five snaps due to injuries as a rookie, Wilson was a non-factor in the early part of the season, but had a four-catch, 74-yard performance and scored a touchdown in Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers, and he scored another touchdown in Week 10 against the Chargers. Wilson’s recent performance led Arthur Smith to tell reporters on Thursday that he’s working toward an increased role.
“He’s slowly but surely is starting to make more plays… It’s an ongoing process.
