Robert Morris no match for Detroit Mercy in second half, lose 79-62

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Despite an early lead, Robert Morris was unable to keep Detroit Mercy at bay falling 79-62 Wednesday night at the UPMC Events Center.

The loss drops the Colonials to 6-18 on the season and 4-11 in the Horizon League. Robert Morris jumped out to an early 16-9 advantage before the Titans came roaring back scoring 25 points in just over 10 minutes of play.

"I thought we got off to a good start and had some good energy to start the game," head coach Andrew Toole said. "We have some standards within our program and the first one is sustained effort.
