Despite another standout game from junior point guard Kavon Stewart, Robert Morris is still winless in the Northeast Conference.
The Colonials lost 72-69 to Wagner on Monday night at the Sewall Center to fall to 0-2 in the NEC (2-13 overall), and the Seahawks improved to 1-1.
After trailing most of the game, Robert Morris made its standard late comeback. The game came down to a 3-point attempt with 2.2 seconds to play, but senior guard Rodney Pryor's shot was off the mark.
Stewart tied a career high in the first NEC game Saturday against Sacred Heart with 19 points and followed that Monday by netting a game-high 23 points.
