The Pittsburgh Steelers had a chance to recapture their spot atop the AFC North on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. A win would put the Steelers up a game on the Baltimore Ravens ahead of their clash next Sunday. But head coach Mike Tomlin’s team failed to take advantage of that, losing 26-7 despite holding the Bills to only three first-half points.
The Steelers have now lost five of their last seven. And the team’s overall effort in the second half against the Bills was largely nonexistent. Bills RB James Cook had 144 rushing yards, and the Bills outgained the Steelers 249-58 on the ground.
