I saw an article that mentioned a player “qualified for the practice squad”. What are the rules governing assignment? Can they move to the regular roster, do they travel with the team, can they bounce back and forth from team to PS, do they get benefits and NFL accrued time, can other NFL teams pick them up between being on the roster and assignment to the PS, etc.
