‘Reps Matter’: Analyst Wonders If Resting Rodgers For Final Two Games Would Be Wise

Aaron Rodgers’ durability was a concern when the Pittsburgh Steelers signed him. Aside from missing some time with a wrist injury, Rodgers has held up well. He’s even been playing his best football with the Steelers recently. However, there’s a chance that Rodgers’ regular season could be over. If the Baltimore Ravens don’t win Saturday night, the Steelers clinch the AFC North. Because they’d have nothing to play for the next day against the Cleveland Browns, they could rest players, including Rodgers. Analyst Steve Palazzolo isn’t sure if that’s a good idea, though.

“I think the reps matter for Rodgers,” Palazzolo said Friday on his Check the Mic podcast.
