Despite being claimed by the Buffalo Bills following his release from the Pittsburgh Steelers, cornerback Darius Slay will not be headed up north. The only place he might be going is his couch. Per multiple reports including one from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Slay is not reporting to the Bills and is instead “contemplating” if he wants to retire.
“Six-time Pro Bowl CB Darius Slay informed the Bills he is contemplating retirement and will not report after being claimed off waivers, per sources. Slay, 34, was cut by the Steelers on Tuesday.
“Buffalo retains his rights for now in case Slay changes his mind.
