Report: P Corliss Waitman Changes To Jersey No. 3 After Aaron Rodgers Signing

Aaron Rodgers officially signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier today and the team quickly announced that he would be wearing a No. 8 jersey. P Corliss Waitman already held No. 8 in Pittsburgh, but he will now change to No. 3 according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on X.

The No. 8 jersey had belonged to Steelers punter Corliss Waitman, but no longer. Waitman now will wear No. 3, which last year belonged to Russell Wilson. https://t.co/iMoEGK89dt

Waitman stepped in for the Steelers last season when Cameron Johnston went down with a season-ending knee injury in Week 1.
