‘Records Are Meant To Be Broken’: James Harrison Thankful To See T.J. Watt Break Sack Record In Person

Late in the first half of the Monday Night Football matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns at Acrisure Stadium, T.J. Watt corralled Cleveland quarterback Deshaun Watson for a big sack.

Not only was it a big sack at that moment in the game, it was one that broke the Steelers’ all-time sacks record previously held by James Harrison at 80.5, giving Watt 81.5 in his career to date with the Steelers.

Harrison, who set the Steelers’ franchise record with 80.5 with a sack against the Browns — ironically — on Sept. 15, 2016 on the road in Cleveland, was in attendance for the Monday night matchup between the two AFC North rivals and stated to Steelers.
