Chris: Why did Mike Adams wait to have surgery now and not earlier this offseason
Ray Fittipaldo: Based on what Mike Tomlin told us on Saturday it had been nagging him throughout the offseason. They had it evaluated at some point. I am assuming after minicamp and decided to take care of it with a surgery. It's unfortunate for him because it's a contract year and he's going to want to showcase what he can do in the preseason games.
