The Baltimore Ravens have waived offensive guard Ben Cleveland ahead of Sunday’s must-win game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cleveland had just ended a three-game suspension for offseason DUIs. Instead of making room for him back on the 53-man roster, the Ravens opted to release him instead.

The NFL suspended Cleveland in early December for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Cleveland pled guilty to DUI in November from a February incident in which he was pulled over by police.
