Ravens Begin Offseason By Waiving QB Robert Griffin III, RB Mark Ingram

The Baltimore Ravens had their 2020 season end on Saturday in a Divisional Round playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills and on Monday the team started trimming their offseason roster with at least one more significant release expected to be made official on Tuesday.

On Monday, the Ravens announced they had waived four veteran players, including backup quarterback Robert Griffin III. Griffin, who had one start during the 2020 season when starting quarterback Lamar Jackson was on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, was on the Reserve/Injured list to end the year. He had been with the Ravens since 2018.

Also waived by the Ravens on Monday were defensive back Davontae Harris, wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas (COVID opt-out) and defensive back Tramon Williams.
