Pittsburgh Steelers coaches and players sure made it sound in recent days like star outside linebacker T.J. Watt is set to return to the lineup in some capacity in Week 18 against the Baltimore Ravens.
But NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport sent some mixed messages Friday morning. During appearances on Good Morning Football, Rapoport stated that it remains a wait-and-see approach with Watt, before an hour later stating that it appears Watt is “on the brink” of playing in the winner-take-all AFC North showdown.
“There was some optimism earlier in the week and to my knowledge, nothing has waned.
