Rapoport: Patrick Queen Injury Not Expected To Be Long-Term

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Patrick Queen exited Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills in the second quarter with a back injury, which ultimately kept him from returning to action. After the loss, head coach Mike Tomlin revealed he was dealing with some sort of contusion.

On Monday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport provided more clarity on the Queen injury, reporting on X that Queen is dealing with a “lower back bruise” and continues to have tests done to determine the extent of the injury, one that the Steelers hope is not a long-term one.
