Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf stayed the night in Baltimore following an unexpected trip to a Baltimore-area hospital Sunday evening after experience stomach pains before boarding the return flight to Pittsburgh following the Steelers’ 27-22 win in Week 14.
Metcalf, who hauled in a team-high seven receptions for 148 yards in the win, reported the stomach pains to the team prior to takeoff and was sent to a Baltimore-area hospital “out of abundance of caution,” according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Metcalf is expected to fly home to Pittsburgh Monday.
