Well, it didn’t exactly take long. I think we all knew that Ramon Foster had the requisite personality and insight to make a transition into the world of media after his playing days were through. Officially, he has already done so, with DK Pittsburgh Sports announcing that he has been brought on board.
It’s not uncommon for offensive linemen in particular to segue into media roles. Just look at the Pittsburgh Steelers’ own duo of Craig Wolfley and Tunch Ilkin. But there is a reason that Foster has been the recipient of the team’s Chief Award, given to the player who conducts himself at the highest level in front of the media.
