After paying T.J. Watt, it looked like the Pittsburgh Steelers were done with drama for the offseason. However, that isn’t the case. During training camp, it was revealed that Cam Heyward is looking to renegotiate his contract. After getting a contract extension last year, and following that up with an All-Pro season, Heyward wants a raise. However, a source told ESPN’s Brooke Pryor that the Steelers and Heyward haven’t gotten any closer on a new deal.

Per source, there hasn’t been any moment on Heyward’s request for a renegotiated contract, and he’s still pushing to increase his 2025 compensation while returning to practice.
