Pittsburgh Steelers OLB T.J. Watt is in the hospital due to a lung issue with the details of the matter unclear. Mike Tomlin stated that the issue popped up Wednesday, and that Watt has been getting evaluated at the hospital. Also, Watt is questionable to play in the Steelers’ Monday night game against the Miami Dolphins. He’s been one of the Steelers’ best players for years, so that is potentially a huge loss for the team. Watt’s well-being is what’s most important, though. Alex Highsmith provided a small update on his teammate Thursday after practice.
“His spirits are good,” Highsmith said via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s YouTube channel.
