Bryant McFadden played six seasons and won two Super Bowls with those stingy Steelers defenses of the aughts, and he feels this season’s unit can be almost as good.

The former cornerback, in checking in with the Post-Gazette sports podcast, also dished on some of his favorite Steelers memories, from going up against Antonio Brown every day in practice to a weird pregame ritual he encountered as a rookie in 2005. And if you’ve ever wondered if former athletes keep in touch with each other when their playing days are over, McFadden suggests the answer is an emphatic yes.
