The Pittsburgh Steelers made a swap at the safety position on Monday, waiving S Juan Thornhill and claiming rookie Sebastian Castro off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Steelers initially signed Castro as an undrafted free agent but the Buccaneers signed him off Pittsburgh’s practice squad ahead of Week 6. He’s now back in Pittsburgh after being waived by Tampa, and head coach Mike Tomlin explained why the Steelers made the swap during his Tuesday press conference.
