I don’t know if it’s more or less encouraging, but the Pittsburgh Steelers threw everything at the wall to stop the Buffalo Bills’ running game Sunday. Despite the team’s constant adjustments, nothing worked. Pittsburgh couldn’t find answers at any point during the game. Even in a first half in which Buffalo registered just three points, the Bills’ run game was effective. Turnovers simply doomed the offense.
By the end of the game, Buffalo piled up 249 yards on the ground. Their scheme was repeated, and Pittsburgh never countered it well.
