The city of Pittsburgh is one step closer to hosting a future NFL Draft, per a report from Mike Larson of the Pittsburgh Business Times.

There was a meeting of the Stadium Authority of the city of Pittsburgh on Tuesday to vote on whether it wanted to enter an agreement with the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and other Pittsburgh-related councils to begin the process of eventually hosting one of football’s biggest events. The vote was unanimously in favor of the agreement. The agreement was reportedly for either 2026 or 2027.

This is following a report in November from Adam Crowley and Dorin Dickerson on 93.
