The Pittsburgh Steelers have cut ties with former 2nd round pick Mike Adams with a "failed physical" designation.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been extremely patient with offensive tackle Mike Adams. After a failed drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine which led to him begging to be drafted by the Steelers, the team stood behind him. After selecting him in the second round, the team sat and watched him go through an incident that saw him get stabbed in Pittsburgh. Even after reporting to training camp and spending the entire 2015 season on the Physicall Unable to Perform list, the team was patient.
